Moments worth Remembering

Some moments quietly shape our lives.
A child's laughter.
A loyal companion.
A wedding day.
A look between generations.
While photographs capture a moment, a hand-painted portrait invites you to relive the feeling—every time you walk past it.
Because some memories deserve more than a place on your phone.
They deserve a place in your home.

What to Expect

Creating a portrait should be an enjoyable and personal experience. From our first conversation to the moment your artwork finds its place in your home, I'll guide you every step of the way.

  • Reference Photos - Your portrait is created from one or more reference photos. Don't worry if your photos aren't perfect—I can often combine images or make thoughtful adjustments to create the best composition.
  • A Personalised Design - Every portrait is custom designed to reflect your story. Before I begin painting, you'll receive a composition for approval, with two rounds of refinements included to ensure you're completely happy with the design.
  • Premium Materials - Each portrait is hand-painted using professional-quality acrylic paints and mixed media on gallery-wrapped canvas and finished with a protective varnish for lasting beauty and durability.
  • Timeline - Most portrait commissions are completed within 2–4 weeks after the design has been approved. If you have a special occasion or gift deadline, please let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate your timeline.
  • Payment Options - A 50% deposit secures your booking, with the remaining balance due on completion. I also offer flexible payment plans over 3, 5, 7 or 10 months. If you choose a payment plan, your portrait will be completed or delivered once the final instalment has been received.
  • Delivery - Completed portraits can be collected by arrangement or carefully packaged and shipped throughout South Africa. Every artwork is prepared with care to ensure it arrives safely at its new home.
  • A Collaborative Experience - My goal is to create a portrait you'll treasure for years to come. If something doesn't feel quite right during the design stage, we'll work together to refine it before painting begins, so you can feel confident and excited about the finished artwork.

Frequently Asked Questions
